In today’s article, we are going to learn how to create a “Glass Effect” using Adobe XD. Let’s start.
- Start by making a 520 x 520 rectangle with a corner radius of 50.
- Scroll down to the bottom of the properties panel and add a background blur.
- To see the effect in action, put an object behind the shape.
- Finally, change the “Blur amount”
- Try coming up with different shapes and effects by playing with the options available
- In this example, I designed a magnifying glass using the glass effect we just learned along with some masking.
- I hope you learned something new from this tutorial. There’s more to come, thank you for reading!
